2019 WMC Annual Conference Speaker Proposal
The Wisconsin Mathematics Council Invites you to share your teaching ideas and practices by presenting at the 51st Annual Conference on May 2-3, 2019 in Green Lake, Wisconsin. This year's focus is on equity in mathematics education. As such, we are looking for presentations that highlight the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics Access and Equity essential element: "An excellent mathematics program requires all students to have access to high-quality mathematics curriculum, effective teaching and learning, high expectations and the support and resources needed to maximize their learning potential" (NCTM, 2010).

The Call for Proposals for the 2019 WMC Annual Conference will be open through October 1, 2018. All submitters will be notified via email of their proposal status by December 1, 2018. If accepted, lead speakers must confirm the invitation to present (title, description, time and date) by February 1, 2019. Only the lead speaker will receive a free one-day registration for the day they are presenting. Lead speakers must register for the conference prior to March 1, 2019.
