-Second or third year university student status during the study abroad program at Oxy;
-Strong academic record - grades averaging in the top 20%; "B";
-Demonstrated academic preparation and motivation;
-Excellent English language skills. If the language of instruction at your home institution is not English, a paper TOEFL score of 600 is required; or 100 on the internet-based test (iBT); or 250 on the computer-based test (cBT) or a 7.0 on the IELTS.
-Financial means to cover the cost of the program as documented on the certificate of Finance (http://www.oxy.edu/sites/default/files/assets/Admission_Aid/CertificateFinances12-13.pdf
- Preference is given to applications for fall semester or full year students if received by March 15, annually. Applications received after March 15 will be considered on a space-available basis.
-For spring semester, applications are due October 1. Your home institution may have earlier deadlines. Check with your International Office.
Only complete applications will be considered. Whether you are applying independently or through a study abroad office at your home institution, your application should be sent as a complete package.
