AREC 360: Global Agriculture: Developing Extension Education & Agriculture Technologies in Africa
Today’s global workforce means that students need meaningful international opportunities that offer a competitive edge in a challenging economy, provide cross-cultural, virtual, and project-based experiences, and reinforce habits of mind and action to contribute to the “global good.” As a member of the UMD Global Classrooms Initiative, this course is an interactive and collaborative experience between enrolled students at UMD and students at the Liberia International Christian College (LICC), in collaboration with the student group, ROOTS Africa.

AREC 360 is a course that requires special permission from the AREC department to enroll. If you are interested in enrolling for Spring 2021, please respond to the prompt below. Ms. Taryn Devereux will review all submissions and make selections based on responses to the prompt below. All selected students will be notified and granted access to register on Testudo. Students are accepted on a rolling basis.
