Hello, we are Aadi and Fiona. We are organizing a community event in November that celebrates the many “Festivals of Light” from cultures around the world — such as Diwali, Hanukkah, Christmas, Saint Lucy’s Day, Sint Maarten, and Halloween.

The idea is to create a magical indoor fair where different cultures showcase their light traditions — through decorations like diyas, menorahs, lanterns, candles, and fairy lights, and through music, food, games, and storytelling. We’d love your help in shaping this event and making it as authentic and inclusive as possible!

Hallo, wij zijn Aadi en Fiona. We organiseren in november een evenement voor de gemeenschap ter ere van de vele "Lichtfestivals" van culturen over de hele wereld, zoals Diwali, Chanoeka, Kerstmis, Sint Lucia, Sint-Maarten en Halloween.

Het idee is om een magische evenement te creëren waar verschillende culturen hun lichttradities laten zien - door middel van decoraties zoals diya's, menora's, lantaarns, kaarsen en lichtslingers, en door middel van muziek, eten, spelletjes en verhalen vertellen. We stellen uw hulp zeer op prijs bij het vormgeven van dit evenement en het zo authentiek en inclusief mogelijk te maken!
