Bristol Data Dive
The Data for Development Festival is the inaugural gathering of the 300 members of the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data. Taking place from 21-23 March 2018 in Bristol, UK, the Data for Development Festival will focus on driving action and fostering strong links that will lead to improved outcomes as the Global Partnership community looks ahead, in the short term to the 73rd UN General Assembly in September and the World Data Forum in October, and in the longer term to 2030.

The Bristol Data Dive is being held from 1:00-7:30pm on Friday, 23 March, just after the Data Festival's closing plenary. It will give participants an opportunity to play with and explore data for sustainable development in an informal yet energized setting. Join us for a dynamic workshop session over food and drinks -- engage with our team of experts, meet new people, learn something new, and apply your unique skills to advance the use of data for sustainable development and social good.

The rundown: The session will begin with a series of quick yet informative demos and talks from experts at the Global Partnership's API Highways Team, select Global Partnership country partners, CARTO, Datavized, Bristol City Council Innovation Team, and Urban Things. Participants will then pair up and dive into the data.
