About Salmon Returns:

Salmon Returns is a financial intermediary with the mission to flow finance into the regeneration of salmon communities —investing values aligned capital in Indigenous and community-led initiatives and ventures that restore salmon ecosystems, strengthen self determination, revitalize local economies, and build lasting resilience across the salmon-bearing landscapes that connect our bioregion.  Our approach is relational; we walk alongside communities that already know what regeneration requires—and simply need the stability and support to move at the pace of trust and possibility.

We recognize the power of the incredible organizing and work that has been done, against all odds, in the Klamath/Six Rivers region. We believe that this region can build and demonstrate to the world what an Indigenous-led, intercultural regenerative economy can be.  We are excited to share our tools, partnerships, and pathways to transformative, community-led investment, and have an opportunity to deepen our regional partnerships, learn from community members, and identify possibilities to build coalition! We also plan to bring a delegation of First Nations (Sylix Okanagan, Ktunaxa, and Secwépemc Nations) also working on a multi-generational effort to bring their salmon home to the Upper Columbia River Basin. Location: Native American Forum (BSS 162), Cal Poly Humboldt, Union and E 16th Streets, Arcata, CA 95521

Parking information: The Native American Forum (NAF) and FSL are located across from the Behavioral & Social Sciences Building on campus. Parking lots G13, G14, and G15 are the closest to the NAF and FSL, with lot G13 being the most accessible. We will send a parking map as well as more detailed parking instructions in a later confirmation email.
