Thank you for applying to be a Teen Lead for MoNA's Teen Art Club Program. Teen Leads will help with Teen Art Club sessions during Jan 31-May 2025 and planning the Teen Art Club exhibition, on display at MoNA from June 28 - September 28, 2025. Please read all of the expectations and fill out all the required questions to be considered.
Teen Lead Expectations:
- Make their best effort attend all Teen Art Club sessions between Jan 31 - May 2025
- Help set-up and clean up for Teen Art Club between Jan 31 - May, according to a rotating schedule
- Attend a minimum of 1 Teen Art Club Exhibition planning meetings in May 2025
- Participate in planning the Teen Art Club exhibition by writing labels, arranging artworks, and helping other Teen Art Club students plan what art work they want in the exhibit
- Spend a total of 1 hour any time during the semester putting up flyers for MoNA
Requirements:
- Age 14 or older
- Have attended at least 2 sessions of Teen Art Club in the past year (October 2023-December 2024)
Teen Leads will be awarded a $200 Visa Debit Card upon completion of semester (Jan 31 - May 2025). Completing the semester means finishing all expectations listed above by May 31 2025.
Important Dates:
Applications are due by Friday, January 10 at midnight.
Notification of acceptance into the Teen Leads program will be sent out by January 22.
The first Teen Art Club session for Spring 2025 meets on January 31. Teen Leads are expected to attend sessions starting on January 31.
