Group Agreements

Space

This circle is a healing space for all advocates—a place to show up as you are.
There is no expectation to "fix" anything, just simply be.
We gather to create a physically and emotionally safe environment for personal reflection, collective support, and solidarity.

Safety

You are invited to share only what feels right for you—this is your story, and you own the narrative.
We encourage self-awareness in the use of words, gestures, and expressions. While none of us are perfect, we commit to being intentional, respectful, and supportive of one another.

Confidentiality & Privacy

What is shared in the circle stays in the circle.
Facilitators commit to maintaining confidentiality and will not share stories shared during the circle to anybody outside of this program.
At the same time, we acknowledge that confidentiality may have natural limits, especially within existing relationships among participants. We ask everyone to be mindful of others’ privacy and refrain from sharing others’ stories outside this space.

Boundaries

Facilitators and participants are equals within this space. Facilitators are here to guide, not to direct or evaluate anyone’s behavior or choices.
We recognize that some participants may have professional, organizational, or personal relationships outside of this space that involve different power dynamics. We ask that everyone approach this space with transparency and compassion, and that you honor your own boundaries about what feels safe to share.

Reflection Over Solutions

This circle centers self and collective reflection by asking:
“How does this issue impact me/us—physically, emotionally, spiritually?”
Participants are welcome to engage in peer conversation or shared reflection. Facilitators will hold the space with care but refrain from providing advice or technical assistance. We are here to promote support, emotional safety, presence, and dialogue.

Participants are welcome to engage in peer reflection and share insights with one another if they choose, but advice-giving is not expected or required.
