This application will take approximately 8+ minutes to complete. Responses cannot be saved or edited after submitting.
This event is open to any currently practicing 4-12 public or charter school teacher who teaches or integrates North Carolina history into their course (i.e., Social Studies, English/Language Arts, etc.)
Past participants of Friday Retreats at UNC’s Wilson Library, in Edenton, and in Asheville are ineligible due to repeated content. Priority registration will be given to teachers who have never attended a CK12 event and/or those from counties who have never attended a William Friday Teacher Retreat.
Teachers must be able to attend ALL HOURS of EACH DAY of the event in order to register. (This includes conflicts that require leaving early, arriving late, or missing any session, activity or meal.) See the agenda for specific start and end times.
Please note submitting this application does not guarantee your registration. You will be notified within 8 business days regarding whether your application is accepted. If accepted, you will be contacted to provide a credit card number via phone or fax to hold your space. YOUR CARD WILL NOT BE CHARGED to participate in this FREE event as long as you participate or provide notice of cancellation by Thurs., Oct. 31. Failure to attend or cancel your participation, which results in hotel fees & food waste, and prevents other teachers from attending, can result in a $75 cancellation fee applied to your card. This charge is ONLY applied for a registrant who does not cancel their registration. We take your privacy very seriously; all credit card information is kept in a locked safe and then shredded after the training date. Please also DO NOT send credit card information via e-mail.
