Joensuun Metsäylioppilailla on nollatoleranssi kaikenlaista häirintää ja kiusaamista kohtaan. Tapahtumissa on sitouduttu noudattamaan turvallisen tilan periaatteita ja Joensuun metsäylioppilaat ry pyrkii toiminnallaan edistämään yhdenvertaisuutta.

Mikäli olet kokenut syrjintää, häirintää tai kiusaamista Joensuun Metsäylioppilaiden tapahtumissa tai toiminnassa, voit ilmoittaa tapahtuneesta tällä lomakkeella. Lomakkeet käsitellään luottamuksellisesti ja tulevat näkyville vain hallituksen häirintäyhdyshenkilölle. Kaikista yhteydenottojen saapumisesta mainitaan anonyymisti hallitukselle, mutta sisältö jaetaan vain luvan kanssa. Suosittelemme ilmoituksen tekemistä mahdollisimman nopeasti tapahtuneen jälkeen, mikä helpottaa kaikkia osapuolia asian ratkaisemisessa.

Jos koet yliopiston muissa tiloissa häirintää tai kiusaamista, voit ottaa yhteyttä ISYY:n häirintäyhdyshenkilöön. ISYY:n häirintäyhdyshenkilö tarjoaa tukea ja neuvoa opiskelijoille, jotka ovat kokeneet häirintää tai muuta epäasiallista käytöstä kampuksella.

Häiriökäyttäytymisen seuraamukset:

Ilmi tulleessa häirintätapauksessa pyritään aina ensin käsittelemään tapahtunutta asianomaisten kanssa. Ilmoitukset voidaan ottaa vastaan anonyymisti, ilmoituksen tekijän näin halutessa. Mutta mikäli asianosainen/asianosaiset haluavat viedä tapahtunutta eteenpäin, niin kuuleminen pitää järjestää kaikille osapuolille. Ennen kuulemista, asianomaiselle on kerrottava tapauksen yksityiskohdat, kuten myös ilmoituksen tekijän nimi. Mahdollisista sanktioista päätetään hallituksen kesken. Sanktion saaneen nimi tulee edunvalvontavastaavan, tapahtumavastaavien ja puheenjohtajan tietoon, jotta esimerkiksi mahdollista porttikieltoa voidaan valvoa.

Sanktiot ovat tapauskohtaisia. Minimisanktio on kirjallinen varoitus ja maksimi porttikielto (x ajan) tapahtumiin. Äärimmäistapauksissa ainejärjestöstä erottaminen on mahdollista.

Mikäli asianomainen/omaiset ovat hallituksen jäseniä, sovelletaan yllä olevia periaatteita, mutta kyseisen hallituksen jäsen/jäsenet eivät osallistu häirintätapauksen käsittelyyn. Maksimisanktio on samat kuin yllä olevat, mutta hallituksesta erottaminen on mahdollista.

If you have experienced discrimination, harassment or bullying at events or activities organized by Joensuun metsäylioppilaat ry, you can report the incident using this Google forms document. The report will be handled confidentially and will only be visible to the union's harassment liaison officer. All contacts will be mentioned anonymously to the union's board, but the content will only be shared with permission. We recommend making the report as soon as possible after the incident, which will help all parties in resolving the matter.

If you experience harassment or bullying in other premises of the university, you can contact the harassment liaison officer of ISYY. The harassment liaison officer of ISYY provides support and advice to students who have experienced harassment or other inappropriate behavior on campus.

The possible consequences of disruptive behavior:

In case of an incident of harassment, the aim is always to first handle the matter with the parties involved. Reports can be received anonymously if the reporter wishes so. However, if the party involved wants to take the matter further, a hearing must be arranged for all parties. Before the hearing, the details of the incident, including the name of the original reporter, must be communicated to the parties involved. Possible sanctions will be decided among the board. The name of the sanctioned individual will be communicated to the advocacy officer, event coordinators, and the chairman so that a possible ban can be monitored.

Sanctions are determined on a case-by-case basis. The minimum sanction is a written warning, and the maximum sanction is a ban (for x period time) from events. In extreme cases, expulsion from the student organization (Joensuun metsäylioppilaat ry) is possible. 

If the person in question is a member of the board, the above principles apply, but said board member shall not participate in the handling of the harassment case. The maximum penalty is the same as above, but removal from the board is also possible.
