This is the Volunteer Application for Sports Camp. This camp takes place July 31-August 4th at Ackerman Middle School, from 9:00am-1pm. We are also seeking volunteers for Theatre Camp. If Theatre Camp is of interest to you head back to our website www.thecanbycenter.org/camp and click on the "Apply to Volunteer for Theatre Camp" button.  

Filling out this form is the first step in our 2023 screening process.  Once this form is submitted The Canby Center staff will review your application, contact your references and schedule a brief phone call with you to determine if partnership is a good fit for everyone.  

When The Canby Center approves your initial application for volunteering directly with children, we will provide a link to finish the process via the Canby School District's background check process.  Once that process has been cleared it will be blue skies and summer fun for all!

All camp activities, including Volunteer Training, will be held at the Ackerman Building in partnership with the Canby School District.  Attendance at Volunteer Training is required for those applying to volunteer directly with students. Training will be on Thursday July 27th at 10:00am. If you cannot attend this time, we may be able to make other arrangement for training.
