GradSWE Committee Survey
At WE15 many GradSWE members talked about how their committees functioned alongside the undergrad members at their universities. Each grad group arranges their funding and committee structures in a slightly different way. This survey is created to compare operations among various GradSWE committees. Ultimately, it will be used as a precursor to create a reference of "best practices" as GradSWE committees become more prevalent across the country. We greatly appreciate your input!
In what year was your GradSWE committee established?
When starting out, was your primary source of funding tied to the larger SWE section at your school?
On average, how many people show up to your GradSWE events?
Less than 10
More than 30
Currently, what is your primary source of funding for GradSWE events?
SWE section funding
School-wide professional development program (e.g. Women in Engineering program)
Corporate sponsorship specifically designated for GradSWE (not tied with undergraduate funding)
If you answered "other" to the question above, what other sources of funding does your GradSWE committee have?
Is there anything else unique about your GradSWE committee operations (structure, funding, activities, etc.)?
Would you be willing to share your wisdom at WE16 during the Grad Meet & Greet session on Thursday, October 27th?
Yes, I'd love to share my experience!
Maybe, please give me more details.
No, thank you.
