Thank you for expressing interest in bringing a group to volunteer with 826 Boston! Our programs would not be possible without the time and attention of caring adults, giving our students the one-on-one support that helps them grow as writers and scholars.

Before we place you in one of our programs, we would love to get to know more about who you are as a group and your goals for your volunteer experience. We want to ensure that volunteering with us is the right fit for you and your group so both parties will have a fun, enjoyable and meaningful experience.

This form should be completed by the point person of the group and should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. Once you complete the form you can expect a response within 72 hours. We look forward to the possibility of hosting you and your group soon!

REQUIREMENTS FOR GROUP VOLUNTEERING:
-Attend one-hour training (can be done in advance or day-of volunteering).
-Each volunteer submits a Massachusetts CORI Background check at least one-week in advance.
-3-4 weeks advance notice prior to your ideal volunteer date

826 Boston can accommodate groups of 3-10 people, depending on the program. If you have a larger group, we recommend booking multiple volunteer sessions.
