Talk 1: How to Understand and Work through Anxiety as a
High-Level Athlete

The rates of anxiety have skyrocketed in recent years so we
want to tackle this topic head on! We will go over what causes anxiety and give
you hands on practices to deal with anxiety when it comes up. This session will be interactive so please come with a notebook and ready to participate.
Talk 2: Becoming the most Authentic “YOU”

To live a meaningful and purposeful life, we have to figure
out who we are. Who you are is not how you look. It’s also not how many “likes”
you get on social media. Figuring out who you are means taking time to identify your unique personality,
your talents, your values and then consciously choosing how you bring those into
the world. Together we will put an end to presenting a watered-down version of
ourselves and put our best and most authentic self out there!
Talk 3: Developing Confidence

One of the most common things athletes say is “I want to
play with confidence.” Unfortunately, saying it and doing it are not the same. Playing with
confidence takes work! In our session we will spend time looking at your
self-talk and work through the 7-C’s of Confidence!
Talk 4: How to Keep at it When the Going Gets Tough

Life takes many twists and turns…so does the sport of
volleyball! In this session we will talk about how to persevere through
setbacks and come out on the other side even stronger. We want to help you
become the most resilient and mentally tough athlete you can be!
