2020-2021 MoCA Westport Space Grant Partnership Program
MoCA Westport is pleased to introduce the Space Grant Partner Program.

Our beautiful new space at 19 Newtown Turnpike, Westport, CT is a destination dedicated to using the Arts to enrich our community. We thoughtfully design and curate experiences of all types, from Visual Arts to Classical Music, including performances, juried exhibitions, lectures, excursions and other educational opportunities.

Through our Space Grant Partner Program we offer the use of our space to other 501(c)(3) nonprofit and civic organizations in Fairfield County who make a positive impact on our community. Use of the space must be to fulfill the organization's mission, and can include following events: public gatherings, invitation-only events, lectures, film screenings, small-scale performances, discussion groups, and meetings, among others. This Space Grant is not intended for art exhibitions or fundraisers. All dates must be agreed upon with the MoCA Event Manager. Gallery walls are not available to hang art or event materials. All event materials and signage must be free-standing. Restrictions on food and beverages apply due to the artwork on premises. See the Space Grant Policy for all requirements. Additional costs would include additional MoCA staff needed per event; including but not limited to Docents, AV Personal, and Curator services.

In the spirit of partnership, selected Space Grant Partner organizations will encourage staff and/or constituents to assist as volunteers for MoCA events like exhibition openings, performances and fundraisers; acknowledge the Partnership on its website and social media, along with cross-promotion of MoCA events to Partner constituents via printed materials, website, email and/or social media.

Space Grant Partner applicants must submit an application between January 27, 2020 and April 24, 2020  with a proposal for single or multiple events to be held October 2020 - May 2021. Proposals will not be considered after April 24, 2020 until the application period re-opens in January of 2021 for events to be held October 2021 - May 2022.
