Speak Up! Five-day pan-European citizen journalism training conference

Plenty of different activities are already planned for a <i>limited</i> number of successful applicants:

<td width="75%">After a presentation of the training and an overview of participatory media in Europe, we'll dedicate the first day of the seminar to <font color="#B9121B">workshops that will improve your writing skills</font></td></tr></table>
<table width="100%"><tr><td width="25%" valign="top"><strong>Saturday 9th March</strong>
<td width="75%">You'll learn how to <font color="#B9121B">manage a blog or a website</font>. There will also be lectures <font color="#B9121B"> with guest speakers of participatory journalism</font>. This is the perfect opportunity for you to join the debate, and to share your experiences and best practices. Additionally, you will be attending a workshop that will also advise you on how to <font color="#B9121B">illustrate your articles</font>, and to understand the importance and the significance of images in a written article</td></tr></table>

<td width="75%">The third day will be dedicated to <font color="#B9121B">social networks and new editorial formats</font>. Thanks to these two workshops, you will be able to be more visible online</td></tr></table>

<td width="75%">In small groups, you'll leave the conference rooms and go out into the city, to <font color="#B9121B"> experience how to write a real-time feature report ‘on the ground’ in Paris</font></td></tr></table>

<td width="75%">The last day will be dedicated to a riveting <font color="#B9121B">media battle</font>, where groups of 4-5 participants will compete to create the best editorial project synopis</td>
