Pre-Interview Workshop Date / Time *
Please select ALL the dates/sessions when you are available. You will need to be available the entire session for one of the sessions. Note: This workshop is mandatory for all applicants within the state of Texas. The Pre-Interview Workshop is mandatory for all applicants residing in Houston and all first time applicants residing out of the city. No make up dates are available. It is in YOUR BEST INTEREST to attend as you will be receiving helpful interviewing tips as well as getting the chance to show us (rather than just tell us) why you should be a C/AC. However, we understand that for out of city/state applicants, this may not be feasible. In such instances, CYC will send you the workshop resource materials, and your interview score will count for 100% of your score.
Required
If you are unable make the workshop dates listed above, please explain why. Please note: The workshop accounts for 40% of your application score.

Your answer
Are you able to attend training 2 weeks before camp on July 11th and 12th? *
If you are unable to attend training on July 11th and 12th, please check the "Other" box and explain why. Due to the importance of training to prepare for camp duties, set expectations, and bond with your fellow group C/ACs, attendance is mandatory for everyone. If an applicant cannot make training but has been a C/AC before, they are able to get the position that they have had previous experience (i.e. a previous counselor can make counselor and previous AC can make AC) or have had more than one year of experience (i.e. an applicant who has served as AC two years is able to make counselor).
C/ACs typically are required to help move inventory and ride the bus to camp. *
If you are unable to ride the bus, please check the "Other" box below and explain why.
Are you able to attend early day arrival on Saturday, July 25th? *
If you are unable to attend on Saturday, July 25th BEFORE the start of camp, please check the "Other" box and explain why.
Will you be able to attend the entire week of camp? *
Sunday, July 26th - Saturday, August 1st (including packing and unpacking camp supplies before and after camp). If you are unable to attend, please check the "Other" box and explain why.
What other competing opportunities are you applying for that may interfere with your responsibilities as C/AC? *
List anything that may cause you to not be able to attend training, miss day(s)/time at camp, or drop out as C/AC (Ex: AID Program, band camp, drill team camp, etc).
