KGD Produce Donation Partner Application
KGD is looking for non-profit organizations based in Detroit, Hamtramck, or Highland Park that serve low-income families and individuals and could utilize fresh Grown in Detroit produce* for their programming. Food pantries, shelters, culinary education programs, and faith-based organizations are encouraged to apply. Ideal partners are able to pick up produce at the KGD Farm at least monthly between May and November.
Applicants must be able to pick up produce donations from KGD Farm in the Eastern Market District (1850 Erskine) on Tuesday afternoons between 3:30-5pm.
*The produce available changes seasonally. Items regularly available in the spring and fall include greens, salad mixes, root vegetables, and herbs. Items available in the summer include tomatoes, peppers, greens, summer squash and herbs. The amount of produce available ranges from 5lbs to 50lbs.
