Coalition for Racial and Educational Justice: 2023-24 C2C Equitable Pathways Program- Request for Proposal
GENERAL PROGRAM INFORMATION

The Connect2Complete Equitable Pathways program is designed to increase interaction, guidance and a sense of community and belonging to students. Throughout the academic year, AmeriCorps members will provide current students near-peer support and navigational assistance. Additionally, AmeriCorps members will assist the site in strengthening their Guided Pathways initiatives and infusing equity within its processes. We have had sites from K12, community organizations, community college, college prison programs, and higher education institutions participate in our C2C program. The C2C AmeriCorps member will serve a 1700 service term (10.5 months). This program will run from mid-September 2023-end of August 2024.

Program Goals:
  • Develop interventions, activities, and programming to increase attendance rates and enhance school engagement for high priority students.
  • Raise attendance rates of 320 K12 students to above 80%
  • Increase engagement of 80 community college students through peer mentorship, service-learning, and academic interventions resulting in 5 students graduating with their associate degree
  • Develop services projects to increase understanding and impact the communities in which students learn
  • Leverage at least 150 volunteers to participate in community outreach, service projects, and family engagement activities on campuses
  • Promote racial justice and equity in Oregon's educational institutions and their communities
