Placement is required to determine the starting point for Math, Reading, and English classes. Paradise Valley participates in using multiple measures of placement.
The following can be used to place a student in Math, Reading, and English classes
Unweighted High School GPA of 2.6 or higher (within the last ten years)
Exception: Math must be within the last 5 years
GED scores within the last 5 years (minimum scores required)
SAT Scores within the last 5 years (minimum scores required)
ACT Scores within the last 5 years (minimum scores required)
