Due to the current state of the recycling industry in regard to leaded glass and plastic prices, Kramden is
unable to accept the following items:

Kramden Institute has long partnered with the RTP Owners & Tenants Association Sustainability Initiative for RTP Electronics Recycle Day. Kramden's mission is to provide technology tools and training to bridge the digital divide and they have refurbished and given out over 35,000 computers since their founding in 2003. Any computer material that can be reused through their programs will be, while everything else will be responsibly recycled through a certified e-waste recycler. Kramden takes data security very importantly and will wipe every hard drive that is donated or physically destroy the drives if they cannot be reused. Eligible equipment will receive a tax donation receipt from Kramden. Visit

- The equipment listed above is my personal property and I have full and exclusive right to transfer title of the equipment;
- I hereby relinquish any right to the equipment, and to any and all software, information, documents and images that may be stored on or in the equipment;
- I understand that I will not be able to retrieve the equipment or any software, information, documents or images stored on or in the equipment after I relinquish possession of the equipment to Research Triangle Foundation (RTF), as agent for the Durham‐Wake Counties Research and Production Service District (Service District);
- I understand that RTF and the Service District will employ the services of a private contractor for the disposal of the equipment;
- I hereby release RTF and the Service District, their contractors, employees and agents from any and all liability for any equipment that I have relinquished in error, for any and all software, information, documents or images that may be stored on or in the equipment, and for any injury or injuries whatsoever that I may incur while transporting the equipment;
- I hereby indemnify RTF and the Service District for any damages, loss or liability suffered by them as a result of any information or data on equipment disposed of as described herein and from any claims by any third party relating to the equipment relinquished as set forth herein;
- I understand that RTF and the Service District are providing this recycling service as an accommodation to employees of companies located in RTP. This release and indemnity of the undersigned is executed in consideration of the acceptance by RTF of the equipment that I have relinquished as described herein;
- I have carefully read this release and understand its contents. I am aware this is an assumption of risk, waiver and release of liability, and indemnification, and I sign it voluntarily.
