Small Group Ministry for 2017-2018: Soul Matters Groups & Connection Circles
Under the umbrella of Small Group Ministry at First Unitarian Church of Wilmington we have two group offerings:
Soul Matters groups & Connection Circles.

Both of these groups are a form of shared ministry that encourages spiritual growth and the development of deep and substantive relationships. They meet our need for belonging (intimacy) and meaning (ultimacy), build friendships, and provide opportunities to talk with others about the big questions of life. The groups are designed to enrich our community with the sort of conversation and attentiveness that can be difficult in the busy life of a growing congregation. The small group experience is meant to nurture each person’s spiritual growth, empowering them to live their lives with intention and authenticity. (You can learn more at

Connection Circles for 2017-2018
Short Stories:
The Short Story Connection Circle meets the first and third Thursday every month from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in Room 27 at First Unitarian Church. This year we will discuss the short stories in The Best American Short Stories 2016, edited by Junot Diaz. The discussion co-leaders are Barry Marrs and Helena Miller.

Women's Spirituality:
1st & 3rd Tuesdays 7 - 9 p.m.
