Chicago Spirit Brigade - Spread the Cheer
Who We Are... The Chicago Spirit Brigade was founded in 2003 to raise money and awareness for Chicago-based nonprofit groups that provide direct care, education and support services to people faced with life-threatening challenges.

Throughout the year, our Cheerleaders, Dancers and Drill Team Members perform at events and festivals in and around the city. Our goal is to entertain, thrill and inspire our audiences; thereby encouraging them to more generously support our designated beneficiaries. After each rousing performance, we ask our audience members to make donations in our signature red Spirit Buckets; 100% of the money we raise goes directly to our designated beneficiary.

To learn more about our organization and to see a complete list of beneficiaries, visit our website: https://www.chicagospiritbrigade.org/beneficiaries. To become a beneficiary of the Chicago Spirit Brigade, organizations must meet the following minimum criteria:

1. Have 501(c)3 status.

2. Provide direct care services in the local community to people faced with life-threatening challenges.

3. Be able to assist in our fundraising effort through co-branded marketing, providing volunteers to participate at our performances, etc.

We accept Beneficiary Applications year round but our selection process for our spring and summer Performance Season typically occurs in 4 to 6 months prior to the beginning of our season. 2019 applications are due, January 1st , 2020. If you miss the selection cut-off, you will need to resubmit a new application the following year. All applications are kept on file for a maximum of one year.
