Faith & Work Seminar: The Eternal Value of Your Everyday Work
How does Sunday worship connect to Monday’s work? What does faith in Christ have to do with our everyday work? The vast majority of Christians around the world are not pastors or missionaries. They work as engineers, teachers, nurses, lawyers, programmers, baristas, entrepreneurs, moms and dads; they work in government, education, accounting, administration, retail, fitness, hospitality, sales, big tech, or farming.

Does the work you do everyday matter for eternity? Is it only to make money to give to the church where the real work of God happens? Or is the real work of God happening through you, everyday, even in the 99% of the time when you aren’t directly sharing the gospel with coworkers or neighbors? This seminar will help us understand the biblical view of work, and to help us see that all good work is not merely of instrumental value (because we can leverage it to share the gospel) but also has inherent value (its good in itself, and much of our everyday work may last into eternity!). The good news of the Gospel is that when Jesus came to save his people from their sins, his salvation extends far beyond the people he saves to include all creation, as far as the curse is found.

Join us at Midtown on Friday evening, April 12, starting at 7:00pm, to learn together about the eternal value of your everyday work.
