Children and mental health: We want to hear your experience
The Dayton Daily News is working on a kids’ mental health reporting project, and we’d like to talk to the following:
  • Young adults or youth who have dealt with mental health struggles within the past decade and are currently in a place now with their mental health where they can share some of their experiences;
  • Parents of children who have struggled with their mental health recently or within the past few years.

Are you a person who has struggled with mental health or had a child who struggled with mental health? *
Do you know of someone who has thrived after mental health problems? *
If yes to prior question, what were some of the factors that potentially worsened the experience or were detrimental to you or your child's mental health? For example, relationships, school or home life, bullying, technology or social media, social issues, traumatic experiences, etc.
*
If yes to question two, what were some things that helped improve mental health?  *
Is there anything you think the media or people in general get wrong about mental health struggles as it pertains to youth and children?
