Please join us for an online video discussion of "White Fragility" by Robin DiAngelo

Professor Robin DiAngelo coined the term “white fragility” to describe how White people often react when charged with unintentionally causing racial hurt: that is, with anger, fear, denial, silence. She shows us how to have more honest conversations and react to feedback with grace and humility.

To deepen our discussion, consider reading the following critiques of DiAngelo’s work: “The Dehumanizing Condescension of White Fragility” by John McWorter https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2020/07/dehumanizing-condescension-white-fragility/614146/
and “White Fragility’ Is Everywhere. But Does Antiracism Training Work?” by Daniel Bergner https://www.nytimes.com/2020/07/15/magazine/white-fragility-robin-diangelo.html

Please register below.

You will receive a Zoom invitation to join the discussion the day of the scheduled event.
