"March", our December book selection, is John Lewis’s incredible story, brought to life in a stunning graphic-novel trilogy. John Lewis, with Andrew Aydin and award–winning artist Nate Powell, tell the story of how a poor sharecropper’s son helped transform America from a segregated schoolhouse to the 1963 March on Washington and beyond. All of the books in the trilogy have received rave reviews and the third book of the trilogy was a National Book Award winner. A Washington Post review states, “Lewis might be a nonviolent protester, but in terms of delivering drama, the hero packs quite a punch.” This trilogy will enthrall everyone from young adults to seniors.

If you decide to purchase the trilogy or any of the three books, they would make terrific holiday gifts. The trilogy will be available at Left Bank Books or on their website during the months of November and December at a 20% discount. A mail delivery option is available.
