About the facilitators:
Founded in 2013, The FANG Collective seeks to escalate resistance to the fracked gas industry while supporting other movements for justice. FANG was the first organization to carry out direct actions targeting Spectra's "AIM" project in 2014. During this training, they will provide a thorough overview of NVDA and what it might look like to participate in a direct action.
FANG believes in empowering and supporting frontline communities to learn and develop the skills they identify as effective in their own campaigns. This has led to meaningful partnerships and collective resistance to fracked gas infrastructure along the East Coast.
About FRRACS (Fore River Residents Against the Compressor Station):
A community group based on the South Shore in MA, organizing resistance to Enbridge's compressor station proposal.
