21st Century CSLA Interest Form
The 21CSLA is an opportunity for teacher leaders, site leaders, and central office leaders to engage in high-quality professional learning that seeks to help education leaders create equitable systems of learning for California students. The Sonoma Regional Academy’s efforts are led by the Sonoma County Office of Education (SCOE) and serves the five counties of Lake, Marin, Mendocino, Napa, and Sonoma in the North Bay/North Coast region of the state. The Regional Academy offers three strands of professional learning that are designed to be engaging and to meet the needs of leaders in the region.
The three professional learning strands are:
--Communities of Practice: Communities of Practice (CoPs) are small, sustained, and role-alike professional learning cohorts grounded in leadership for equity and improvement science. CoP offerings are aligned to the priority topics of equity, continuous improvement, and distance/digital learning. CoPs are designed to serve three distinct groups: Teacher leaders, Site leaders, and District leaders
--Professional Learning: Professional learning opportunities are designed to provide participants with content that addresses localized needs that inform site-based problems of practice in equity leadership. All professional learning opportunities are aligned to the Quality Professional Learning Standards (QPLS).
--Leadership Coaching: Individualized coaching that is built on relational trust, aligned to the California Professional Standards for Education Leaders (CPSEL) and focused on equity-centered problems of practice using continuous improvement principles to help leaders improve their practice.
