CalYOUTH in the loop
Last year, researchers at the University of Chicago interviewed over 600 nineteen year old youth about their experience with the transition to adulthood. A majority of the youth were in extended foster care, but some were not.

We have included some of the most interesting results from the survey, and you'll get to learn more about how youth currently or formerly in foster care are doing in areas like education, relationships, health and housing. After we share the outcomes of the study, you'll be able to respond to some questions with your perspective and opinions.

Thank you for participating! All your answers will remain confidential. The data will be reported only in the aggregate and no individual will be identified.
