Fundraising Task Force: the power plant for all other tasks which include all general fundraising activities. Monthly scheduled meetings throughout the school year will be required.

Grant Writing: will seek opportunities for applicable grants. Parents who enjoy writing detailed reports will be able to acquire critical funding for campus improvements. Quarterly meetings will be required.

Scholastic Book Fair: the TMSA Book Fair takes place during the fall and spring of each school year. Each session will be coordinating with the Media Specialist and other support staff. Quarterly meetings will be required.

Picture Day: the TMSA Picture Day is a fundraising and school spirit activity. This task requires members to identify a photography company, negotiate, and organize the event along with any make-up days. Monthly meetings will be required. Tentatively scheduled for August 22nd with make-up day on September 30th.

Book Drive: will be charged with identifying and mobilizing books for the TMSA Library. This task will be ongoing throughout the year. Quarterly meetings will be required.

Green School/Science Labs: will attained gently used science lab materials from colleges or other appropriate institutions for biology, chemistry, physics and general science fields. Quarterly meetings will be required

Performing Arts : will assist in the production of live performances such as Black History Month, Hispanic Heritage, and Asian and Pacific Islander celebrations. Monthly scheduled meetings will be required.

Blood Drive: will organize an annual blood drive to encourage our students and families to give back to the community. Two scheduled meetings per semester will be required.

Chess Club: will supervise after school club, and organize on and off campus tournaments. This club will meet at least once per week.

Robotics Club: will provide support for the after school program and assist students with school-based projects, robotics exhibitions, and competitions.

Yearbook: task Force members will plan throughout the year to design, organize, print and distribute the TMSA 2022 – 2023 yearbook.

World Cultures Night: an annual event that exposes TMSA students to aspects of various cultures through food, song, stories, and other performances. Task force members will work closely with our Social Studies and Language Arts Departments. Monthly meeting will be required.

Earth Day Festival: will collaborate with our Science Department to organize an informative and engaging event for our families and surrounding community. Bi-monthly meetings will be required.

Graduation Task Force: will assist with planning the year end celebration of TMSA students’ accomplishments. This event is held in conjunction with the 8th and 12th grade graduation ceremonies. Monthly meetings beginning Semester 2 will be required.

Tutoring Task Force: will support the TMSA afterschool tutoring program by acquiring and/or serving as ELA, Math, and Science tutors for our Middle and High School students. There will be a one day per week commitment required for tutors with quarterly acquisition meetings also required.

Career Day: will organize and implement an engaging annual event highlighting a variety of career options for our students.

Public Relations Task Force: will be involved in marketing TMSA’s accomplishments, goals and needs in order to gain recognition and resources for our schoolwide programs. Monthly meeting will be required.

Sunshine Club: will organize Teacher and Staff Appreciation events and activities. Quarterly Meeting will be required.

Athletics: will serve as members of the Booster Club, Assistant Coaches, and/or Marketing for our Athletics Program. Meeting schedules may vary.

Collegiate Tours: will organize local and national Ivy League college and university tours for our students. Three month preparation time will be required.

Toastmaster International: will assist in establishing a student organization for aspiring entrepreneurs and future business leaders. Monthly scheduled meetings will be required.

Science Fair: this annual event is one of the largest that TMSA has to offer. Members will assist our Science Department in coordinating and organizing a statewide showcase including exhibitions, competitions, and much more. Monthly scheduled meetings will be required.

Alumni Task Force: will be responsible for celebrating our graduates and reconnecting them to our learning community. Members will organized our first alumni mentorship program, public speaking series, and class reunion. Monthly scheduled meetings will be required.

Networking Task Force: will be responsible for cultivating partnerships with local and national colleges and universities.

Faith Based Organizations: will introduce TMSA to local and statewide faith based organizations and search for avenues of cooperation for the betterment of our communities. Quarterly scheduled meetings will be required.

TMSA Family Cookout: will organize this year end event for families, staff, and the surrounding community. At least one month preparation time will be required.

Blue Ribbon Task Force: will collaborate with TMSA staff to establish an action plan with the goal of becoming a National Blue Ribbon School. Quarterly meetings will be required.

Muffins with Moms: this school spirit activity will allow Task Force members to bring more TMSA mothers together to promote socializing and networking opportunities to enhance the school culture. Quarterly meetings will be required.

Donuts with Dads: this school spirit activity will involve Task Force members creating opportunities for TMSA fathers to interact in order to promote school involvement and enhance school culture. Quarterly meetings will be required.

Art Club: Task Force members will work with TMSA Art Teacher to allow students the opportunity for an artistic outlet. This club meets once a week after school with a culminating art exhibition at the end of the year.

Photography Club: will supervise projects highlighting school culture. Prior experience in photography is a plus. A one day per week commitment is required.

Community Liaison Task Force: will establish relationships with local businesses in efforts to provide direct/indirect instructional opportunities,  scholarships, internships, guest speaking events, field trips, and more for our student body. Monthly meetings will be required.

Senior Trip Task Force: will research and organize several humanitarian field trips in efforts to increase student marketability in regards to college applications

Science and Math Olympiad: will assist the program director with weekly club meetings in preparation for competition. A one day per week commitment will be required.

Cyber Security and Coding Club: will establish and supervise a weekly meeting of students who are interested in learning the basics of cyber security, coding, and other areas of Technology. A one day per week commitment will be required.

Civil Air Patrol Parent Task Force: will assist Major Timothy Bagnell with the planning and implementation of meetings, community service, on and off campus activities.
