Virtual Mom Collective Blog Submission
Thank you for your interest in submitting your post to Virtual Mom Collective Blog!
Please read the submission criteria below to see what kinds of posts we are looking for.
Q: What kinds of posts are we looking for?
A: We are looking for posts that are relevant to motherhood. It could be about your relationship with your own mother. How your relationship with your mother has affected your relationship with your children or your own parenting style. Any motherhood or mother-related topic is welcome and encouraged.
Q: Do you have to be a mom to submit a post for publication?
A: No. All are welcome at the Virtual Mom Collective (VMC)! All we ask is that your post be mother-related. If you are not a mother, and want to submit a piece about your relationship with your own mother, we would love to read it. If you are an aspiring mother or mother-to-be with thoughts about motherhood, we want to read that too.
Q: How long does your piece have to be?
A: Between 350 to 1500 words is the sweet spot. Please be mindful of the word count, but if you go a few words over, that's ok. We want a well-told story with a beginning, middle, and end.
Q: Can you submit a piece that's been published already?
A: Please only submit original work not previously published or owned by another publication. By submitting your work to VMC, you agree that you own rights to your work, and will not publish elsewhere once accepted by VMC. We ask that you submit original pieces. No re-publications.
