After having to cancel both the 2020 and 2021 shows due to COVID-19, we have the date already set for 2022 - Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th August 2022.  The venue is booked, the attractions are booked, the visitors will be ready to come in their thousands...

COVID-19 UPDATE - Even with the recent Plan B announcement and the possible restrictions for large gatherings, we have made a decision of how to proceed and are going to hope that by August 2022 restrictions will once again be lifted and we can return to large events taking place without any concerns. That being said, your and the public's safety is our number one priority and we are in discussion with the local authorities and will only go ahead with any of our events IF IT SAFE TO DO SO. Please keep an eye on this website and on our social media for updates.

Still a new event in the Hometown Events line-up in 2022. We are proud to have been offered to take over the organisation of this established event and will bring the Hometown touch of magic to it when we can finally hold it in 2022 and will continue to grow it in future years making it a prestige show to celebrate the awesome South Downs National Park.

A highly anticipated event annually with regular footfall in the region of 7,000 visitors over the course of the weekend. With increased attractions and publicity planned for 2022 this will be the perfect opportunity to show off their local produce!

The event will take place in the awesome Queen Elizabeth Country Park. A large country park situated on the South Downs. It is located on the A3 road three miles south of Petersfield, Hampshire and lies within the South Downs National Park.  It will take place over the weeeknd of Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th August.
Trading times –  The South Downs Show – 10:00 – 17:00

The costs of joining of us are below

3×3 Metre. SPACE ONLY. – £110 for both days.

6×3 Metre. SPACE ONLY. – £220 for both days.

9×3 Metre. SPACE ONLY. – £330 for both days.

Gazebo Hire 3x3 Metre (Limited Stock) – £50 for both days.

6ft Folding Table Hire (Limited Stock) – £15 for both days.

Power Supply (16 AMP) – £30 for both days.

Power Supply (32 AMP) – £40 for both days.

Gazebo Lighting (Limited Stock) – £20 for both days.

All Prices Include VAT.

Taking on board feedback from the public and to improve the look of the event, the pitch space booked will be for your stall only and once unloaded, parking of your vehicle will be in the Traders Car Park close by at the end of the site.

We have a full range of catering options already booked in and so please do not book in if you are applying for a catering pitch.

SDS - Pitch
Please note this is to reserve SPACE ONLY - either a SINGLE space of 3m x 3m or a DOUBLE of 6m x 3m or TRIPLE of 9m x 3m - please hire or bring your own gazebo and other items
SDS - Gazebo
IN ADDITION TO HIRING OF THE PITCH SPACE - Hire of a heavy duty, 3m x 3m gazebo with either a black or white roof and back - will be erected in position for arrival
SDS - Table
IN ADDITION TO HIRING OF THE PITCH SPACE - Hire of a 6ft folding white table - will be in position upon arrival
SDS - Power
Hire for an electricity supply of one 13 amp socket as standard. If your need is greater, please ensure you add comments below and we will contact you to discuss.
If requesting a power supply, please list below what you will be using it for
SDS - Lighting
Hire of two rows of 5m LED festoon lighting to be supplied or installed in a hired gazebo upon arrival. Please note a power supply will also need to be requested if lights are required
If you will be bringing livestock, please list the animals attending (DEFRA requirement)
SDS - Trade Passes
How many passes will you require for staff to allow for free access on to the site.  If more than 4 passes required, please click on "Other" and let us know in Additional Comments on the final page of this complete form
SDS - Camping
If you would like to camp overnight on site on any of the nights listed, then please tick the options below so we can ensure we can accommodate you. Each camping space will be a 5m pitch
To keep everybody as safe as possible at our events we ensure a high level of health and safety throughout the site.

We ask all of our traders to attend with appropriate safe equipment for the job involved and to regularly have any equipment checked and certified.

During the whole time you are at our event our marshals will be on-hand to help with any problems and ensure the site is safe for yourselves and our guests.

In the unfortunate event of an accident, we must ensure all of our traders have at least £2m Third Party Public Liability Insurance, to cover the worst possible outcome.

PLEASE NOTE, completing this form and applying for a space at any of our events does not automatically ensure you will have a space.  We also have limited stocks of gazebos, tables and lights and so these will be allocated on a first come basis and so we cannot guarantee these will still be available.

We look at all applications and will contact you to let you know if you are successful in your application.  To ensure our events are as awesome as possible we reserve the right to accept or deny any application made at our discretion.
