Disaster Victims Fruit Tree Wish List

Thousands of families have lost their homes and all of their belongings.  For those rebuilding, they’ll have landscaping to replace.  The South Orange County chapter is starting a permanent project, which we hope will be embraced by other chapters and the parent organization.  This is a two-prong effort.

We have created a web page where catastrophe victims can create a “wishlist” of fruit trees and fruiting plants they’d like for their future landscaping.  Knowing that rebuilding will take years for most people, we intend to use this list to start growing plants now so they’ll be ready for planting when the homeowners are ready for them.  The plants will be free of charge to affected people, whether or not they are CRFG members.  We

encourage any members and nonmembers to participate in helping our neighbors.

Victims data will not be sold nor given away. We will be verifying there was a disaster to prevent scammers pretending.

Email and phone number are needed to contact victims.
