Private Booking Request Form

Modern Fuel Artist-Run Centre is a vibrant, long-standing cultural non-profit based in Katarokwi-Kingston. We are dedicated to the presentation, interpretation, and creation of contemporary visual, time-based, and interdisciplinary arts.

We are pleased to offer our versatile space for special events, performances, meetings, and rehearsals. To ensure the safety and smooth operation of all activities, our staff will be scheduled to be onsite during any booked event. Please note that the space cannot be left unattended during bookings.

If you are interested in booking our space, we invite you to complete our online Private Booking Request Form. If the requested time is available and aligns with our capacity, Modern Fuel Staff will provide a quote based on your equipment needs, event duration, staffing requirements, and any set-up specifications. Please note that bookings are not confirmed until a member of our team has finalized the booking and a contract has been signed.

Bookings may be declined if they conflict with other programming or exhibition dates, or alternative dates may be suggested.

Requests for Fee Sponsorship

All revenue from bookings supports programming and operations at Modern Fuel. We are open to proposals for in-kind sponsorship in exchange for reduced rental rates.

We consider requests on a case-by-case basis by considering the following criteria:
-How does the proposed event support our mission, mandate, and strategic plan at Modern Fuel?
-Is the individual or organization booking the space from an equity-seeking community?
-Can we remain open to the public during the rental period?
-Is the individual or organization booking the space making revenue from this event?
-Do we still have the budget to offer sponsorships for space rentals?
