Lea Rowing Club New Member Form
Lea Rowing Club always welcomes new members, from those who wish to compete at the highest level nationally and internationally to those who simply want to enjoy rowing socially and be part of our community.

The club is located in Hackney, London, making use of a stretch of the River Lea which runs past the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and is rowable all year round. Lea RC is the closest rowing club to the City and can be reached in less than 30 minutes by bicycle or public transport.

We are looking to continue to build on the stellar 2018/19 season, which culminated in five crews qualifying (two seeded) for Henley Royal Regatta 2019 - with our Wyfold crew the highest finishing British entry, losing out to the eventual winners in the Saturday semi-final.

But beyond HRR and some incredible results for the men, our women's squad have been awarded Pairs Head victors 2018, fastest women at Vet's Head of the River 2019, and who could forget our Henley Women's Regatta aspirational 4+ win in 2017.

Our novice and development squads have had some big successes, the result of a structured programme for those early in their rowing careers.

Learn 2 Row gives newcomers to rowing the chance to get on the water and learn a new sport. Our beginners courses provide the opportunity for people with any level of aspiration in the sport the chance to get involved.

However, to keep progressing and to keep building our club, we need new people like you! Please fill in this form to help us direct you to the right person in the right squad. We’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

If you are a junior and would like to enquire about joining, please contact djr@learc.org.uk
