Hart-Ransom Academic Charter School Student Hearing Checks Nov. 29, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.
Stanislaus County Department of Education will conduct hearing screenings on Wednesday, November 29 at Hart-Ransom. Kindergarten students receive an impedance screening. Students in grades 1, 2, 5, 8 and 10 receive a hearing screening. There is no charge for the hearing test. Grades K, 1, 2, 5, 8, and 10 are recommended but other grade levels may sign up for a hearing check too. All students with IEPs and 504 Plans are encouraged to come for a hearing check.

Undetected and untreated hearing loss can impair a child’s speech and language development, learning ability and social growth. Early identification of any hearing loss is essential to provide effective treatment.

Please use the form to help us plan for your child's hearing screen. Thank you.
