Over a dozen Seattle-area progressive groups are gathering, convened by Communities Rising, for conversation, networking, food, and fun at Woodland Park’s Picnic Shelter #6 on Sunday, August 2nd.
With the midterms fast approaching, let’s share ideas for meeting this moment with urgency and purpose. We’ll celebrate the resistance, discuss how we can get out the vote, and discover ways to support each other’s work,. Each group will introduce themselves and their projects.
The picnic starts at 4 pm, with tabling, socializing and games for kids and adults. We’ll sit down to eat at 5 pm and afterwards have the group presentations and discussion. More details HERE.
