Membership of the ALCS is open to anyone with an interest in Low Countries Studies. Low Countries studies is not limited to linguists or literary scholars; we also count historians, art historians, urban planners, bibliographers, and political scientists amongst our members.

The membership year starts from the moment we receive your payment.

Apart from supporting Anglophone Dutch Studies as an academic subject in the UK, Ireland and worldwide, all ALCS Members...

- receive our academic journal Dutch Crossing (three issues per year / print copy + online access)

- receive the ALCS Winter and Summer Bulletin

- can apply for an ALCS Research Grant

- can post to and receive messages and event invitations from our mailing list
