This year, our theme is Celebrating Afro-Caribbean Culture, and we are seeking an awesome team of volunteers to help this celebration run smoothly.
Juneteenth volunteers will be asked to help with:
Packing the van at Rootead then helping unpack at Bronson Park
Setting up tents and tables
Helping Youth Enrichment team with RYDDE set up & performance
Directing vendors to their areas
Relaying messages from backstage to the Rootead station
Directing the flow of patrons at the food trucks and beverage stations
Helping break down tents and tables at the end of the event
Packing the Rootead van
Helping unload the Rootead van at the studio
All volunteers must be 18 years of age or be accompanied by an adult. Our greatest need will be the first and last shifts when we set up and tear down.
