Article I. TEAMS WILL MEET 2-3 DAYS PER WEEK (MONDAY-FRIDAY)Section 1.01 Practice will begin at 3:40 and end at 5:00. Games begin at 4 pm or 5 pm and last approximately one hour. All players are expected to attend games from start to finish. Section 1.02 A practice and game schedule will be accessible on the Indian Creek School athletics' calendar.Section 1.03 Transportation will be provided to away games but players are responsible for transportation home following the game with the exception of scheduled out-of-county games.
Article II. PLAYERS ARE EXPECTED TO BE ON TIME AND PREPARED FOR ALL PRACTICES. Section 2.01 Practice times and days can vary from week to week depending on field and court availability.Section 2.02 All players should be properly equipped and ready to participate. This includes indoor and outdoor footwear, protective equipment (as required by rules) and appropriate athletic wear for practice such as shorts, sweats, t-shirts, etc.
Article III. PLAYERS ARE EXPECTED TO ATTEND ALL PRACTICES AND GAMES.Section 3.01 Indian Creek will compromise with outside organizations to help facilitate players playing on two teams as long as player, parent and coach understand that Indian Creek home and away games have priority over other team practices. Section 3.02 Players are expected to attend and participate in all scheduled games from beginning to end. Players will not be permitted to leave games at half-time. Section 3.03 Players are responsible for notifying the coach in advance if they are unable to attend a practice or a game.Section 3.04 If a player is unable to participate in their regularly scheduled P.E. class, the player is not eligible to participate in after-school sporting events.Section 3.05 If absent from school, a player is not eligible to participate in after-school sporting events.
Article IV. PLAYING TIME WILL BE GIVEN TO EACH PLAYER, REGARDLESS OF ABILITY, WHO HAS PARTICIPATED FULLY IN THE PREVIOUS PRACTICES AND GAMES. Section 4.01 Playing time may be limited by the coach for any player that has not participated fully (late, inattentive, disruptive, lack of effort, etc) during practice or a game.Section 4.02 Players that do not attend practice or games will receive limited playing time or deemed ineligible to participate in a game(s).Section 4.03 Coaches may also use their discretion to field an appropriate team against the competition which may decrease or increase an individual’s playing time. This may mean playing stronger more experienced players against stronger teams and less experienced players for a longer period of time against less experienced and less physical teams. ICS does not have an equal playing time policy.
Article V. PLAYERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR TEAM UNIFORM AND MUST BE IN FULL UNIFORM TO PARTICIPATE ON GAME DAYS.Section 5.01 ICS will provide a team uniform at the beginning of the season. Players are responsible for caring for, securing and returning the uniform at the end of the season. If not returned, a replacement fee will be charged to the parent’s account. A late fee will be assessed for any uniform returned after the "return by" date.Section 5.02 Players are responsible for bringing their assigned uniform to school on game days. ICS will not issue extra uniforms on game days.

(see “Concussions” information under Information - Important Documents).*We have read and agree to abide by the rules and regulations written below and any team rules set forth by the coaches.*We have read and understand the process used to communicate game and practice schedules (see Section 1.02 of the Articles).*We understand a replacement fee will be charged to our account for any unreturned or damaged uniforms. *We understand our child may have to carpool with responsible Indian Creek staff and parents if other means of transportation are not available.*We have read the Positive Coaching Alliance Letter and Parent Pledge. *In emergencies requiring immediate medical attention, we understand our child will be transported to the nearest hospital emergency room.
