MHV Child Baptism
We are excited your child is interested in being baptized! Please take a moment to complete this form in preparation for this important decision.

In general, we recommend that children wait until they are at least 7 years old to be baptized. Baptism is a physical demonstration of the faith that we profess in Jesus. So, while some children begin a relationship with Jesus prior to this, usually it is around this age and older that they can begin to articulate their faith and what it means to them. At this point, we would recommend baptism.

If your child is not yet ready for baptism, you might consider Child Dedication. This ceremony on a Sunday morning is a declaration of the parents to dedicate themselves to the Lord and to raising up their child in a way that they, too, might come to know Jesus one day.
