KūHana x Mahiʻai Match-Up Application - Food Systems Edition
Aloha and mahalo for your interest in applying for the KūHana Cohort 6 - Food Systems Edition managed by the Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement (CNHA) in partnership with Kamehameha Schools' Mahiʻai Match-Up. You will be notified no later than December 20, 2021 informing you of a decision on your application. If you are accepted into KūHana x Mahiʻai Match-Up, the program will begin January 10, 2021.

This application is due by December 10, 2021.

Information sessions are available on November 8 & 15, 2021 from 5:30-6:30pm. Please visit www.hawaiiancouncil.org/kuhana to sign up.

KūHana x Mahiʻai Match-Up participants walk away from the program with a completed business plan, ongoing mentorship support, technical assistance, ample networking opportunities, and an opportunity to pitch their business plans to scale their operations. Curriculum topics include, market research, Hawaiian culture business integration, financial analysis, and pitch development. As an added benefit, upon completing the program, businesses are awarded 1 year of business membership with CNHA and can receive a discounted interest rate if awarded a loan with our CNHA Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). Finalists will receive continued business wraparound support.

This program is a collaboration between the Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement, Kamehameha Schools, and The Kohala Center.

KūHana is working with Kamehameha Schools Mahiʻai Match-Up competition where the winners will get an opportunity for an agricultural land or commercial property agreement.
