What is a Green Job?
A job that builds and maintains landscaping that reduces flooding such as rain gardens, permeable paving, french drains, and more.
Program Fast Facts:
- Earn a stipend of $12/hour for up to 40 hours/week (paid weekly) during the 8-week program
- Landscapers who specialize in green infrastructure can earn a higher annual income than traditional landscapers
- Earn nationally endorsed certifications including OSHA 10 (Occupational Safety Health Administration), NCCER CORE (National Center for Construction Education and Research), and Clean Water Certificate Level 100.
- Job placement assistance available for program graduates
Our next cohort - NDR Cohort 3 - starts in June of 2022. We encourage you to apply for that cohort and will reach out to you about the interview process. If beginning this program in June does not work for you, you are welcomed to use this same form to apply for future cohorts (Fall of 2022, Spring of 2023 etc). Specify below.
