MB Tradesmen / Property Maintenance Technician
Job Summary:

Milliken Builders is seeking a skilled and dependable Tradesmen / Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in high-quality craftsmanship, and can tackle a wide range of home and property improvement tasks. You’ll work on a variety of projects including electrical work, fencing, carpentry, painting, flooring, and general household repairs—supporting both small jobs and larger residential or light commercial efforts. While the role will be full-time, it is perfect for a retired tradesmen who loves to tinker and stay busy. 

Salary: Starting at 50k

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a wide variety of maintenance and repair tasks including:

    • Minor electrical work (e.g., installing fixtures, outlets)

    • Interior and exterior painting

    • General carpentry (e.g., framing, trim work, repairs)

    • Flooring installation and touch-ups

    • Light plumbing 

    • Household and structural repairs

  • Final touches on projects

  • Assist with general repairs and projects at our restaurant and farm when needed

  • Make general repairs to our rental properties as the need arises

  • Work closely with project managers and other team members to complete tasks efficiently

  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe job site

  • Represent Milliken Builders with professionalism and pride in workmanship

Qualifications:
  • Proven work experience in general maintenance, handyman services, or construction

  • References and/or job history that demonstrate reliability and quality craftsmanship

  • Strong understanding of basic construction tools and methods

  • Ability to read and follow instructions, blueprints, or schematics

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Comfortable working independently or as part of a team

  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

  • Physically capable of lifting, bending, climbing, and working on your feet throughout the day
