VALUE_BASED NEGOTIATION SKILLS DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP

This training workshop improves negotiating skills by giving managers a simple method of understanding the negotiating process, of the skills used in the process and by allowing them to practice the skills under the expert guidance of the course coaches.

The workshop contains 8 hours of intensive training including lectures, case exercise preparation, 2 live negotiations, and case evaluation. Specifically, some of the following issues are covered:

WORKSHOP OUTLINE:

• What is the best time to negotiate with your opponent
• How to get ready before the negotiation
• Use active listening techniques to understand your opponent
• Use constructive questioning
• How to gather information about the other side's bottle line
• The benefits of using an empathetic negotiation approach
• How to use different strategies to reach your interests
• Defuse aggression and confrontation
• Build partnership relationships with clients or suppliers
• Learn the secrets of win/win deals
• To recognize when to use persuasion and negotiation
• To understand the “6 modules” and how to use them to negotiate effectively
• To understand and practice the skills associated with each module
• The major issues to be considered in getting ready before negotiating
• How to be empathy and understand the other side’s issues and needs
• How to open the right price in your proposal.
• Separate the person from the issue
• How to recognize negotiating opportunities and exploit them
• Understand the true definition of “Win-Win” deals
• How to develop options in a negotiation
• How to read someone
• Interest-based negotiation vs positional bargaining negotiation
• How to handle objections and rejections.



PAYMENT TERMS

Early-Bird: Registration latest 20 days prior to the start date, payment latest 15 days prior to the start date
Regular: Registration latest 7 days prior to the start date, payment latest 3 days prior to start. The booking form must be completed and returned for seat reservation

Full workshop fee (NETT of ALL bank charges) is payable within 7 days from the date of the invoice.


CANCELLATIONS & TRANSFERS

If you are unable to attend, another member of your organization can be substituted at no charge. Please provide the name, job title and contact details of the substitute delegate at least 2 working days before the start of the workshop

A refund minus a charge of HKD1,500 administration fee will be made for cancellations received in writing at least 7 days before the program. No refunds will be made for cancellations received within 7 days before the start date, but a postponement to a later intake is possible at an HKD1,500 administration fee.

WWIN ASIA reserves all rights to amend, cancel and/or change the program, trainer, date or venue if necessary by circumstances beyond our control. In the event of program cancellation, our liability is limited to a full refund of your course fees.
