At the February board meeting, it was decided that our chapter will be changing its name removing the name Audubon from our chapter name. This will not change our chapter status with the National Audubon Society. Read www.aldoleopoldaudubon.org/subcommittee for more background on this. 

So, now we embark on a process to select a new chapter name. We seek input from our members and community on a new name. 

There is one criteria to consider. As much as we had the desire to keep "Aldo Leopold" in the chapter name, the Aldo Leopold Foundation has trademark rights to the name and asked us to not use his name anymore.
