The NHPIE Blue Ribbon Award recognizes the extraordinary efforts of school volunteers for the achievements realized during the previous school year. The 2019 Blue Ribbon Award is given to successful and effective school volunteer programs during the 2018-2019 school year.
TO RECEIVE THE BLUE RIBBON AWARD, THERE ARE FOUR BASIC STEPS.
APPLICATION PROCESS. 1. Complete this application and submit it on line. 2. Send in the School Principal's testimonial and application fee
NOTIFICATION AND EVENT 3. We will notify all schools after review of applications and receipt of fees 4. We will invite all to the November 1st Celebration of Volunteers
STEP ONE - ON LINE APPLICATION- Please answer all of the questions to file your application through this on-line form. Be aware, most questions require an answer before you can submit the application.- If NHPIE does not understand an entry or if there is any missing information, we will email the person submitting this application.- Each school applying for a Blue Ribbon Award must have the appropriate documentation to support the response to each question. NHPIE retains the right to review the documentation upon request.- Schools will be notified by email that the application has been received and all information is complete. NHPIE will begin to send notifications in August.- It is advisable that the person filing this application keeps a print or electronic copy of this document.
STEP TWO - PRINCIPAL'S TESTIMONIAL AND PAYMENT OF REGISTRATION FEE- The school principal is required to submit a brief testimonial letter. - Please keep the comments to no more than 100 words. - The testimonial must be on school letterhead or an email from the principal's school account. - For those choosing to mail the testimonial, please send it to NHPIE (email@example.com)
- The application fee must be submitted by check to our PO Box. NH Partners in Education PO Box 2758 Concord, NH 03301 THE APPLICATION PROCESS FOR A SCHOOL WILL BE CONSIDERED COMPLETE AFTER NHPIE RECEIVES THE APPLICATION, TESTIMONIAL AND FEE.
STEP THREE - AWARD ANNOUNCEMENT- Each 2019 Blue Ribbon School will be notified by email in the middle of September. - With the notification there will be registration details of the celebration event tentatively scheduled for November 1, 2019 at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord, NH.- If you have submitted all of your application materials and are not notified by September 15, please contact NHPIE at firstname.lastname@example.org.
STEP FOUR - REGISTRATION AND A SEAT AT THE EVENT IN NOVEMBER- The application fee for the celebration events are separated from the application fees. There was a past practice to provide complimentary seats, but that practice ended with our revision to fees in 2016. - All seats will be available for a reasonable fee, estimated to be $30 each.- It is the responsibility of the school to register all school and partner representatives for the fall event.
APPLICATIONS AND FEES- The $15 application fee is for those applications that are submitted before Labor Day.- Late applications can be submitted after Labor Day, with an expectation to pay the higher fee of $30.- Late applications will be accepted at the discretion of the board.- Applications submitted in late September will be accepted in very few cases. - The application process will be considered complete after NHPIE receives the application(s) and application fee(s).
APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED THROUGH THIS ON LINE PROCESS- Applications will not be accepted in a different format.- Applications submitted by paper application only will be charged an additional processing fee as determined by NHPIE.
REGISTRATION AND A SEAT AT THE EVENT IN NOVEMBER- All seats will be available for a reasonable fee, estimated to be $30 each.- The NHPIE Celebration of Volunteers is scheduled for the morning of November 1, 2019 at the Grappone Conference Center, 70 Constitution Ave, Concord, NH.- Please remember the application fee WILL NOT provide any complimentary seat to the November celebration event.

By applying for the Blue Ribbon Award, it is understood that New Hampshire Partners in Education may ask the school to provide additional information in support of this application. Please maintain your logs and other supporting materials for at least six months beyond the submission of this application.
It is understood that this entry gives New Hampshire Partners in Education permission to use any of the information in this application for our training, recognition and publicity purpose.
GOLD CIRCLEOutstanding business or community organizations that provide extraordinary support. This is typically within the most recent school year. All partners will be recognized as part of the Celebration Event in November. The application process is a quick and simple with minimal fees.
