Dear JMI Families,

The James Madison Intermediate School PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) board, welcomes you back for another school year. We hope you all had an awesome summer!

For those who are not familiar with the PTO, it's a nonprofit group that consists of parents, teachers, and school staff working together to improve the educational experience for all students. We work hard to make the school year very exciting and enjoyable for students, families, and teachers. Our objective is to collaborate with educators and parents to better the welfare of our students.

We have general PTO meetings once a month to discuss events, plan fundraisers to enhance all programs, and share ideas. We are looking forward to meeting parents who would like to get involved with the PTO. It is a wonderful way to share your input and be involved in planning PTO events/activities at JMI.

This school year we are planning some exciting events and activities. We need your support to continue to provide fun, educational, and enriching programs for our children. Some PTO-sponsored/organized activities include family social night, book fair, holiday boutique, Spiritwear sales, Thanksgiving feast, school dance, science fair, student assemblies, cultural programs, field day, class trips, year-end memory books, 5th grade moving up ceremony, teacher and staff appreciation week, summer reading program, and much more.
