The annual Legislative Breakfast sponsored by the Kalamazoo Environmental Council is an opportunity for the public to meet with their elected representatives to talk about protecting and managing Michigan's abundant natural resources. Discussion topics will include safe drinking water, Great Lakes protection, climate change and sustainable transportation.
Participating will be: Rep. Jon Hoadley, 60th District; Sen. Sean McCann, 20th District; Peter Dickow from US Sen. Gary Peters' office; Mary Judnich from US Sen. Debbie Stabenow's office; Nate Henschel from US Rep. Fred Upton's office.
Invited, but unable to attend due to prior commitments: Sen. Aric Nesbitt, 26th District; Rep. Brandt Iden, 62nd District; Rep. Matt Hall, 63rd District; Rep. Beth Griffin, 66th District.
There is no charge to attend, but donations to help cover costs will be gratefully accepted. Continental breakfast will be served. Please help us make this a greener event by bringing your own coffee cup.
